White & Warren is a New York City knitwear brand founded in 1997 by Susan White Morrissey and Barbara Warren, who set out to make cashmere approachable at a time when the fibre was still treated as a rarefied luxury. Designed in New York and knit from premium, responsibly sourced yarns, the label is known for luxurious machine-washable cashmere - above all its Cashmere Travel Wrap, which takes 51 steps to make - alongside sweaters, cardigans, lounge, outerwear, baby blankets, accessories and a growing menswear line. Susan's daughter Catherine Morrissey became president in 2018 and led a rebrand that swapped 'White + Warren' for the ampersand and pushed the business from its wholesale roots toward direct-to-consumer. The house style is colourful, softly constructed, everyday luxury built to last for years.
