Rains is a Danish rainwear label founded in Copenhagen in 2011 by Daniel Brix Hesselager and Philip Lotko as a side project while the two were still students. It turned a simple, packable waterproof jacket into a full range of PU-coated outerwear, bags and accessories built on Scandinavian minimalism and matt, season-proof function, and grew through concept-store stockists and collaborations (colette, Opening Ceremony, a 2016 Sperry capsule) into a global all-weather lifestyle brand whose flagship stores now include New York's Madison Avenue and Shanghai.
