Altuzarra is an American luxury womenswear and accessories label founded in 2008 in New York by Joseph Altuzarra, a French-American designer raised in Paris by a Chinese-American mother and French father. After training under Riccardo Tisci at Givenchy and stints at Marc Jacobs and Proenza Schouler, Altuzarra launched with a tightly edited debut of fifteen looks that were snapped up by Barneys New York, Ikram and Dover Street Market. The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner in 2011 and Womenswear Designer of the Year in 2014, the brand is celebrated for body-conscious, sensual, multicultural tailoring that fuses French polish, American ease, and craft-driven femininity. Its studio has been based in New York's Woolworth Building since 2017.
