Alaia is a French luxury fashion house founded in 1981 by the late Tunisian-born designer Azzedine Alaia (1935-2017), celebrated for figure-hugging, sculptural dresses and couture-level craftsmanship that earned him the nickname 'the king of cling.' Based in Paris and renowned for precise tailoring, signature knitwear and refined leather pieces, the house has, since 2021, been creatively led by Pieter Mulier, continuing Alaia's architectural, body-conscious aesthetic.
